D:S Ratio Up to 12:1

Longer effective measurement distance – safer testing

  • Distance-to-Spot Ratio:

The laser emissivity ratio is 12:1 – this means that if the target object is 12 inches away, the target size must be at least 1 inch in diameter.

Measurement Method Guide

When measuring boiling liquids, do not allow smoke or water vapor to come into contact with the sensor. Hold the thermometer at a 45°–60° angle to the liquid surface with the sensor hole facing the liquid.

Industrial Thermometer (Not for Human Body Use)

Do not use for measuring human body temperature!

Do not point the laser directly at the eye or at reflective surfaces that could redirect the laser toward the eye, as this may cause injury!
