The entire unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth or wipe. The metal probe can be disinfected with alcohol. Clean after each use for peace of mind.
3-Position Measurement Guide
Axillary (Armpit)
Raise your arm and place the thermometer probe flat in the center of the armpit, then lower your arm to hold it in place.
Ensure the metal probe is completely covered by the armpit during measurement.
Oral (Mouth)
Place the thermometer in the mouth with the metal probe positioned under the tongue, either on the left or right side. Close the mouth and hold the probe down with the tongue.
Keep your mouth closed during measurement and breathe evenly through your nose to prevent exhaled/inhaled air from affecting the reading.
Rectal
Lay the child on their back and lift their legs to about 90° from the body to prevent them from turning over.
Carefully insert the probe 2–3 cm into the anus until the entire metal probe is fully covered.
